Year Round Program Description

Infinite Grace Academy will be offering a year round instructional program that begins on August 24, 2010 and goes until August 10, 2011.


There are several categories of classes offered:
* Regular Classes are for students entering the program through private pay or the McKay scholarship from the Florida Department of Education School & Parental Choice Program or other scholarships
* These classes are Monday through Thursday.
* Classes begin at 8:30 and go until 12:30 for Kindergarten and until 2:30 for Grades 1-5
* The teacher student ratio in the classes may be 1:4.
* Planning by a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst and a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist is included in this program.
* Direct speech-language pathology services may be elected.
* Demonstration Program Classes are for students enrolling through the TriCare Demonstration Program (ECHO) for special education without the McKay scholarship.
* These classes meet Monday through Thursday. Classes begin at 8:30 and go until 12:30 for Kindergarten and until 2:30 for Grades 1-5.
* The teacher student ration in these classes is 1:1 for the majority of the day
* Behavioral technicians are the teachers for these students under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
* Planning by a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist is included in this program.
* Direct speech-language pathology services may be elected.
* Demonstration Program Classes are for students enrolling through the TriCare Demonstration Program (ECHO) for special education plus the McKay scholarship.
* These classes meet Monday through Friday. Classes begin at 8:30 and go until 12:30 for Kindergarten and until 2:30 for Grades 1-5.
* The teacher student ration in these classes is 1:1 for the majority of the day
* Behavioral technicians are the teachers for these students under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
* Planning by a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist is included in this program.
* Direct speech-language pathology services may be elected.
* ECHO Program Classes are for students enrolling through the TriCare ECHO program for special education and either with or without the McKay Scholarship.
* These classes meet Monday through Friday. Classes begin at 8:30 and go until 12:30 for Kindergarten and until 2:30 for Grades 1-5.
* The teacher student ration in these classes is 1:1 for the majority of the day
* Board Certified Behavioral Analysts are the teachers for the majority of the school day with these students.
* Planning by a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist is included in this program.
* Direct speech-language pathology services may be elected.

Classes are also offered for students of varying ages. Programs are available for any age person who is interested in receiving planning by a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst and a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Examples of these classes include:
* Preschool Classes for Communication Skills: These classes are offered for children who may be in the Early Steps Program and need social skills training to learn to interact with the world in a behaviorally acceptable manner using their communication skills.
